Recycled Used Parts:
Undamaged original parts harvested from a total loss vehicles. The recycling of
used parts from the more then three million totaled vehicles each year in this
country has become a multi billion dollar industry and is the fastest growing
segment of the replacement part industry [ARA]. In the world we live today it just makes good sense. These are the same type
and quality original factory parts as currently on your vehicle. When available
these quality recycled parts provide an excellent economical repair.
Remanufactured Parts: Original parts that have been remanufactured or refurbished to the same quality
as the parts currently on your vehicle. Common parts for this category would
include bumpers, wheels and mechanical parts.
Aftermarket Parts: Replacement quality parts supplied by a company other than your vehicle
manufacturer.
These parts are certified for proper materials, fit and
finish by independent testing associations such as CAPA and MQVP to insure that they provide a quality repair. Common parts
for this category would include fenders, hoods, bumpers, lamps, grilles and
mechanical parts.
Original Equipment Parts (OEM): These are new parts supplied by your vehicle manufacturer. These parts provide
the least cost effective method of repair and should only be considered when the
above alternate parts are not available.
